About Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC)
The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) owns and oversees the operation of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC). In 2015, the MCCA hosted 262 events at the BCEC and other venues, with 724,292 attendees, generating 632,433 hotel room nights and $784 million in economic impact.
The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) is the largest convention center in New England, with 516,000 square feet of contiguous exhibition space. The main exhibition floor is made up of three bays which can be isolated for separate shows or linked into one large space. The BCEC is located on Summer Street near the South Boston waterfront, Boston’s World Trade Center, and Cruiseport Boston. It is across the harbor from Logan International Airport. It is about one block south of the World Trade Center station on the MBTA Silver Line, with direct connections to South Station and Logan Airport.
Because of its central location and proximity to other points of interest, travelers visiting Boston to attend an exhibit or event, can also easily visit the other attractions. There are many fine restaurants and hotels within the general area of the BCEC.
